India's First Gold Medal in Olympics 2008

Recently i got the flash news on gtalk from my friend that Abhinav Bindra from India has won the first gold medal in BEIJING Olympics 2008 .... World champion to get the gold medal was Abhinav Bindra in the 10mair rifle event today....

Abhinav Bindra 25yr old who qualified fourth for the event shot overall score of (596+140.5) 700.5 in the final and it makes him indisas first ever individual gold medalist after the silver medal feat of double trap shooter Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore in Athens 2004.
