Many of them don't know that LPG Cylinders Have Expiry date printed on the handle bar so to be on safer side it is always necessary and important to accept the cylinder by verifying its expiry date below is the procedure on how check it..... all the LPG cylinders are coded with alpha numeric as follows:
A,B,C or D and these alphabets stands for
1. A First Qtr that is march
2. B Second Qtr that is June
3. C Third Qtr that is Sept
4. D Fourth Qutr that is December
and digits stands for until year it is valid ex: C 09 Stands for the cylinder is valid till September of 2009 below are the PICs which shows the expired cylinders using these type of cylinders may cause leaks and other accidents...

below picture shows that cylinder is valid until December 2013

So guys be careful while taking delivery of your LPG Cylinder and be on safer side away from RISK.
