Create Windows Xp Sp3 Splitstream Bootable Cd easily

Recently i downloaded windows xp service pack3 and wanted to integrate it with my windows xp installation CD, though before i followed before primitive method of split streaming the service pack3 with windows xp cd and creating a bootable cd..... with the primitive method of manually integrating service pack with command prompt and burning it on cd making a bootable is quite tricky the easy method is by using a FREE software called nLite which is less than 3MB which not only integrates service pack also allow you to automate the product key with installation cd and highly customizable... so that next time you when you install windows xp it does not prompt you for the product key whats more? you can also integrate the device drivers with the installation CD so that next time every thing will get installed during in the installation of the operating system so that you don't have to manually install each and every device driver separately....

below pics shows the procedure of making your own windows xp installation cd with service pack 3 integrated

Just Copy the Contents of your windows xp cd into your hard drive say D: drive and create a folder in d drive say Xp-Cd

select the service pack and bootable ISO option if your requirement is only to integrate sp3 and make a bootable cd else if you want to add patches, drivers etc you can select the below options as show in PIC and follow the wizard which will guide you through the process

And after Completing the above step say integrating service pack you will get this screen where in you can create a image, create an ISO for later burning, Burn the ISO to the CD or Directly Burn the Windows XP integrated with Service pack on to the CD... but it is better to Check with Re-Writable CD or virtual PC whether the you have properly integrated the service pack though this is not really necessary

Though i was creating the split stream CD's with command prompt and nero ROM but nLite now makes much of the work easier and more over it is free.
