follow the simple steps below

• Open the installation folder of acrobat reader in my case it is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader
• Open the plug_ins folder Select all folders and files in plug_ins except for EWH32.api, search.api, printme.api
• Move all the folders & file to a folder called Optional which sits on top of the plug_ins folder
  

that's it now next time when you open any pdf files it should be opening fast.
