How to change display name or yahoo id card in yahoo mail ? recently i created a special purpose account on yahoo that is email id dedicated only to forums at the time of creation i gave my original name so when i sent a mail to forum members they could see my original mail so after 
googling a bit i came to know where to change the yahoo mail from name or display name below are the steps to change the name:
1. On the upper-right corner of the yahoo email page click on option and general prefrences
2. Right at the top, in the “From name:” box, enter your name how you’d like it to appear in the "From:" line of your outgoing messages. Example: “code master”.
3. If you want, you can also adjust the email address to which people send messages when they click “Reply”. If you leave the “Reply to:” field blank, your Yahoo! Mail address is the return address. Specify a different return address by entering it after “Reply to:”
4. Now you are done Click Save to put your new settings into effect.
To change the name of yahoo id card it is very simple i don't know why yahoo made this look very tricky though it is very much simple
1. Log in to the Review My Account Information page.
2. Scroll down to the last where you find Address/Contact Information.
3. Select edit and change the first and last name you want to change and click finish the next time when you log into you can see changes have taken place
4. Now you are done Click Save to put your new settings into effect.
