Why Facebook is Confusing and a Mess ? atleast for Me

Facebook vs Orkut the two different worlds a Comparison! you can see this topic discussed and debated in many forums and communities though facebook and Orkut are the most popular social networking sites offers similar capabilities and features facebook is widely used in north America, Orkut is extremely popular and the number one choice of Indians..... though i have both the accounts my choice is Orkut because of its simple clean user interface and navigation and i am still really confused why facebook is so popular in north America?


below are some of cons of facebook and odds of orkut

• Professional interface, facebook users describe orkuts UI as some what amateurish
• Adding friends require explanation and reason
• Uniqueness in communities where as duplicates are allowed in orkut
• Security of user and profile information
• And Some fun applications which now hopefully available on Orkut
  

though according to me i find orkut interface is more professional and easy to navigate than facebook which is very annoying for beginners in social networking site i don't know why people needs a reason to add friends...... allowing communities with same name improves competition and community interest to be well moderated........ as name itself says it is a social site then why people wanna needs high security and privacy then why really social networking site is for? you can see almost all the facilities and features of facebook is now incorporated in orkut also so the difference between the two is very blurring.....

I remember the Microsoft $240 million deal with facebook reminds me of Microsoft intention of using facebook as a lethal weapon on orkut anyway the choice of social networking sites depends on people and their interest and my choice is "Orkut" always so guys and gals tell me what do you like most its Orkut vs Facebook time...
