Why do i get Spam Emails ?

Why do you get more Junk Mails compared to others? According research it is found that email addresses starting with letter "A","M" or "S" get more than 40% in contrast with letter which begins with "Q" or "Z" which is about 20%!!! this study was conducted by Dr Richard Clayton from University of Cambridge.....

Dr Clayton analyzed over 550 million email message sent to customer of net service domain BTW Feb 1,2007 to 27 mar,2008 according to clayton the reason for such a difference between different peoples spam box is that it is by the way that spammers generate e-mail addresses to which they then send junk messages.

he also said that they carry out so called "dictionary" attacks in which spammers take part of email id before"@" and attach the same to other domain ex nospam@yahoo.com addresses will be appended as nospam@gmail.com and sent

Dr Clayton said the research had thrown up some anomalies that needed further research. For instance, he said, addresses starting with the letter "U" appear to get more than 50% spam despite there being relatively few of them.

so guys next time when you sign up for the new mail id choose a id which look like infamous names as described above and make sure that they start with letters z,w,q,s ;) btw how much spam you get in your mail box? my email id starts with letter "M" and really gmail spam box get flooded and my other email id which starts with "F" rarely gets any spam mail :0 weird isnt it?
