some of the features of the google chrome are:

• It is based on java script VM called V8 which is said to speed up the browser
• The address bar has auto complete called omni box which suggests pages from the recently visited database
• Google Claims that it has better memory management and problem in one tab/site does not affect the remaining opened site
• multiprocessing unlike regular browsers a seperate process is allocated to each tab/plugins
• Task Manager which allows which site is using how much memory,download speed,cpu resource etc.
• Chrome uses the WebKit rendering engine on advice from the Android team. The WebKit engine is simple, memory efficient, useful on embedded devices and easy to learn for new developers.
• Has Privacy mode called "Incognito" which does not leave any browsing traces on the computer

So is Google launching an application which is Mozilla Firefox killer? as you can see until recently Mozilla started gaining popularity and Mozilla users are increasing very rapidly what could be the scenario after the launch will Google chrome would gain the popularity or the Mozilla Firefox will lose its base and the end of Firefox era? only time could answer all these questions lets see how it goes?
