I know Blossom Goodchild the lady that channelled this message, she is a lovely woman who holds regular channeling nights and has written three books, she has worked hard to build her credibility among her peers and would not put this information out there unless she truly believed it to be true. Ok my reality is definitely different to most peoples I have not changed my belief system in any way. I was channelling from a group call the Federation of Light well before I met Blossom, and it blew me away to find that not only had she written a book channelled by them but that 70% of the book was the same info I had.

It was more like the pattern of light came down in to my head and tried to rip my soul out of my body. But in a good way. It's hard to explain. On Oct 14, the usual people with overactive imaginations who claim to have seen 'real ufo's' will again claim to have 'seen' lights/whatever in the sky, and become absolutely convinced that what they 'see' on that date is the visiting 'Federation' craft. In fact it will just be another group of people who cannot put name to what they see and so read 'ufo/aliens' to what they see, claiming 'it' to have been an alien craft.
Whoever Blossom is, she's banking on the usual 'believers' to come out and say; 'Yes, she was right! I saw them with my own eyes!!'
If anything does happen that I witness with my own eyes, I will divulge my personal details and eat my words.
I just hope blossom and co will also eat theirs when the aliens decide to not come.
Although I sound like a sceptic, I do in fact believe in the infinity of space, and thus the infinite probability which concludes that their ARE other lifeforms out there.
But they are not coming to visit us, and if they did, I'm pretty sure they would not use subliminal messages via mediums to announce their attendance.

To be honest, I have no opinion either way about whether or not it will happen. It is only a few weeks, away, and I am patient enough to wait and see for myself.

Well, as for the aforementioned space vehicle appearing on 10-14-08, it is stated that this space vehicle will be two thousand miles long. If the ship enter's our atmosphere, we'll ALL know it and fast. If it doesn't, whatever cook spew's the line, "I saw Pleidian's, I saw pleidian's!" We'll know they're lying as the ship would be visible by over a hundred countries, regardless of "wherever" it appear's.
The same person who gave this message also received one on August 22, 2008. You can even look it up. In the message, she was told about a "snow cone." Then 4 days later, August 26, 2008, the "Florida Sky Phenomenon" happened in which many people reported looking up and seeing a perfect cone shape in the sky, literally as if someone had "sliced" a pizza slice shape in the clouds. It was pretty big, went across the entire sky.
I guess that it may lend SOME credibility to the Blossom Goodchild person. We'll just have to wait and see.
Oh, I almost forgot, a guy named Dannion Brinkley wrote about this event in a book (published back in 2002.) He said that we would be made aware of ET existence in 2008. He also correctly predicted the price of a barrel of oil to be at $150.00 a barrel. It wasn't written after the fact, either -the damn book was published in 2002!

The way these "aliens" are going about contacting seems a little too close to the Christian apocolypse. Here are my reasons: In Christianity, channeling is frowned upon, yet B.G. is accepting whatever this entity is saying as truth because it says it is truth, in fact it never shuts up about truth. Not to mention the talk of "divine plan" by this entity.

I think it would be wise to keep in mind that humans have been bombarded with deceptions and lies for 6,000 years. This is a fact. Is it not significant that the every religion that has been invented and crammed down out throats has to do with individuals giving up their their own freedoms, trusting in someone or something else, worshipping someone else, (accept true Buddhism)? are any of you aware that there was a UFO once before over Fyffe Alabama the end of the '90s or early 2000's. Really man, they have a UFO day there and everything. Spooky. I just stepped into the bathroom after reading a few comments on this blog in order to take a piss, and I saw a fairly large cockroach on the floor quickly trying to hide in the corner behind the toilet, so I chased the bugger out from behind his hiding place and then attempted to do him in by first trapping him under a large, plastic container of bathroom cleaner which I placed right on top of him. Granted these guys are pretty quick, but I had a decent bird's-eye-view of this placement. Upon lifting the bottle, well, somehow he had slipped off into another dimension. This cockroach was just gone.
Now before this cockroach adventure began, it passed through my mind that I might as well leave it alone since it wasn't actually "bugging" me at the moment even though I am not a big fan of these creatures, but then I decided that if it were to bug my wife later she'd scream for me to come running and send it to cockroach heaven and so decided to just get the job over with. All the while I was pondering the possible arrival of these goodly dimensional aliens and how karma might work and all that. Anyway, the cockroach's disappearing act made me think, "Hmmm." as I commented aloud to no one n particular, "Well, that's a pretty good trick."
So, if it wasn't just a hallucination, which it very well could have been, although there haven't been that many in my current span on Gaia as far as I know, if a cockroach could do something like that, just slipping into an unseen wormhole like that, then why couldn't aliens show up over Alabama or wherever on the day after my birthday?

I think that believing in this is a lot like believing in God. It is a lot like Pascal's wager "If you erroneously believe in God, you lose nothing (assuming that death is the absolute end), whereas if you correctly believe in God, you gain everything (eternal bliss). But if you correctly disbelieve in God, you gain nothing (death ends all), whereas if you erroneously disbelieve in God, you lose everything (eternal damnation)."
When people ask me to proof God exists, I like to respond by asking them to prove He doesn't.
So basically I'm saying that I am not going to ask you to prove that this will happen because I can't prove that it won't. We will find out in 12 days I guess. But while I am not going to criticize your belief in this, I will accept that there is a possibility of it happening but if it does, then I guess I will be one of the ones who would lose everything. So much discussion about this topic, Sure there most definitely are other lifeforms out there, and to assume otherwise would just show a lack of basic understanding of the scope of the universe, but at least consider that if this is going to happen, there are so many other factors that can influence it, corrupt governments, so many things behind the lines that we have no clear awareness of...
fact is, it may happen because there is so much we haven't been told and thus that makes it virtually impossible to reach a valid and solid conclusion, but then again...
it may not happen, because none of us have any idea what the real truth is, the earth could look orange from space for all we know, unless we actually go up there ourselves and look with our own eyes, there is no way for us to be 100% sure.
lets all just get on with our lives n see what comes when the day arrives, if huge light ships grace our skies, we can all be pleasantly surprised, if not, then we can just say oh well and get the hell on with our responsibilities.

Having read most of the comments concerning this event on 10-14-08 or none event I'm amused by the diverse comments, pro and con.
For the proponents of this event I have this to say. Whatever human beings can conceive in their heart, mind and soul will one day manifest in the material world. Everything that has ever come to pass on this planet has come via the creative mind. There was a time in human history where the earth was the center of the universe, later in history the world was thought to be flat and you could fall off the edge. Prior to Galileo the only lights you could see in the skies is what you could perceive with the naked eye. I often think about the wisdom of God to have Jesus make his debut in a period of human history where superstition and religious dogma ruled the day. But if he would (He, for a lack of better word) presented him into our modern world and he performed all the works he did then, you would be watching him on TV along side Chris Mind- freak. The point of this is timing. There is a time and a season for all things under the sun. We have been prepping since the days before the accent books predating the Old Testament for a new age of human events. As out technology expands, so does our understanding of our environment both in the heavens (Space the Universe) and here on earth. The more humans seek to find answers to questions about the universe or in the quantum physics (The world of the small) both these areas continue to elude science. Every time science feels they have answered the question they have sought, a whole new set of question and stumbling blocks are presented.
I'm never surprised by what could happen in the course of human history. All things are possible. When you close your mind to the possibility of an event such as this then your going back to the world being flat. I could give you all the reasons scientifically why this could not happen. Imagine a 2000 (Length or Diameter) mile long ship entering our solar system. Have it move between the moon and earth, the effect such a massive object would have is mind boggling, the gravity effect of it's own would warp space around it and reek havoc on the planet. But here is the other side of the coin. We exist in a universe that is three dimensions of space and one dimension of time. All that we know and understand is based on the physics of three dimensional space. What would happen if you interjected a forth dimension of space? The problem if it exist you and will never be able to detect it. We are not even able to perceive it in our mind. As we can only reason in three dimensions. Based on our perception of reality we judge that nothing is possible that doesn't fit into our physical laws. Earth is a little blue dot in a solar system comprised of an average star located in one of the outer spiral bands of the galaxy. One of a infinite number of galaxies, stars nebula in our universe. A single grain of sand on all the beaches of the world. So to be so arrogant by thinking we here on earth are the embodiment of all knowledge in the universe is really shallow in mind and spirit. All the wisdom and knowledge of man is a folly to God and will eventually be his downfall. It doesn't matter whether you believe in a God, intelligent design or you just believe in yourself, you having all the answers and everyone else is an idiot. The bottom line is you can speak your belief in behalf of human kind. But add one single dimension to the equation and your lost and have no answers. We being three dimensional being could interact with a two dimensional universe. The beings of that universe would never detect you in anyway that they could understand, a shadow here and there but nothing of substance. So based on this, a being from say the forth dimension interacting with us, a dimension we could not begin to comprehend it's mechanics could make itself know with little or no effect in our reality. So before you close the door to possibilities and put others down because the have a broader range of mind then you have, just remember the world is not the center of the universe and it isn't flat and there is more to the heavens than you could possibly imagine.

I haven't read all the post's here so i apologise if i'm reapeating anyone! It seems to me that there are a number of comments aimed at discrediting this whole notion on the basis of what seems acceptable to logic and reason. One person above has made their mind up about all of this on the basis that "alien mediums" are an even more crazy idea than an alien dropping a text or an email through. Well I question this logic. If you received an SMS from an alien, what would you think? I imagine most ppl would delete and forget, assuming it to be some sort of advertisement or scam. however if telepathic communication IS possible, would it not make sense that if a vastly more advance civilisation than our own were going to establish contact, that they would do so by having several mediums around the worlds independently channeling similar information? Does this not seem more credible? Of course the issue of who to contact would be a major question for any visiting aliens, certainly not the power hungry secret rulers of our world (if you believe in them) definitely not any media personalities (carefully moulded through years of training to have a very refined sense of what is and isn't possible (or a good story)) From what i understand about the GFL's supposed plans for earth, if they show up ppl will do what ppl do, and that means that in a moment of crisis or fear of the unknown (such as a global visitation by ufos) ppl willl turn to those who seem unafraid or to have answers, no matter how incredible their stories might have seemed before our normal reality was shattered. Interesting that no-one has mentioned the fact that a 2000-mile wide space ship would have enough mass, and therefor gravity, to really screw up this planet. If something of that size comes anywhere nearer to the earth than the moon, it would yank almost all satellites out of orbit, cause unprecedented havoc on our tides and weather patterns, and ultimately cause so much damage that it will (indirectly) cause the deaths of millions of people. Does everyone have their cameras and PhotoShop ready? I am trying to keep an open mind, but with so many skeptics and so many that try toooo hard to believe, who knows for sure. And who will ever know for sure?
I believe in alien life forms and that they've been visiting for eons. (See cave paintings, etc) I see no reason why they would'nt continue to visit, observe and maybe intervene.
I also believe that channeling is iffy. Which I'll explain in next paragraph. I do believe in channeling because Ive done it myself. Only once, that I am conscious of. I believe many of us do and then block the memory, maybe because not all the info we receive is good, or for reasons involving doubt about our own gifts/power, etc.
The question rgarding channeling, for me, is not whether its possible,, but how accurate it is and what is the source of the info. It may be difficult to know who is "coming through" and what their intentions are.
I dont believe that the aliens are coming on the 14th, necessarily. The reason I dont believe is a combination.
1) Ive been let down before, so I dont want to get my hopes up that something that amazing could happen on a particular day
2) Channelers arent always accurate, because
a. they m,ay not be very skilled
b. they may be being tricked by some entity/person/government agency/spirit who wants to mislead, misguide or make them lose credibility

If you were a "studier of psychic phenomena" you would know that distance is irreleveant when it comes to "esp". This has been proven. Whether 1 block away or 500 miles away, the signal is just as strong. Why would you assume that would change as distances grow larger? If youre going to be scientific, ask a physicist. I bet she/he would beg to differ. Id like to know where you read or heard that distance is relative. If you really believe in esp and aliens, then, if u r rational and honest, you should also consider that esp between aliens and us is possible.

My point is this; we need to focus on ourselves to find salvation, this is not egotistical, quite the opposite. Without being caring, helpful beings with at least a minimal sense of community, I seriously doubt we are even considered worthy of contact in any other form than that of total destruction, so that the planet can be inhabited by someone who actually would take care of it and each other.
Think about how we have rules in our societies to not meddle in the ways of aboriginal people so we do not destroy their way of life or interfere with their development.
And how the different nations urge to impose their own faith, governmental structure and financial systems on others.
Adding these two together, logic would suggest that any alien race with a minimal amount of respect for itself would leave us alone until we have evolved to the point where we deserve their interaction, or that another race/coalition would interfere with their attempt to change our way of life before they could do it. If, in fact, we were contacted, at least my logic would suggest that the visitors will have no good intentions.
At least I hope it is only us humans who behave like a virus, multiplying and abusing our "host" until it dies, while hoping to be able to change to another host before it happens.
Personally, I think this urge to meet aliens is an escape from our responsibility to take care of each other and our planet, and a straw to grasp as we near the final exhausting of our mother, the earth.
And yes, I am a pagan, but one with an open mind, and not prone to disprove the faith of others. After all, faith is scarce these days, and we need it to survive.
