Internet service providers to terminate Internet telephony calls on phones, including mobiles.....though until now a call from computer was legal only to another computer not the telephone with this new policy consumers can make a call from computer to the telephone and also telephone to the PC it also ensures that rural india will get benefits of making ultra cheap calls from PCO's using this technology broad band and wimax technology also get a boost...
though this is a good news for ISP which will open up major new revenue channels and lower the expenditure of call centers the telcos such as airtel,vodafone may have a major revenue fall already telcos have started protesting against TRAI's decision lets see what happens if this is possible there will be a major revolution in internet
