Frequent Power cuts terrorized the IT Capital of India Bangalore many IT companies gave a 2 to 3 hrs of break as there was no diesel to run generators in many companies due to power cuts there was lot of demand for diesel so the available energy was used for critical systems such as servers 
and poor IT Professionals who are addicted to Air Conditioners could not sit in their cubicle as Air Conditioners was not working for most of the time for these 15days...
these all happened as four power generation sources had shut down due to technical problems and late monsoon this year and low level of water in the reservoirs also meant that we could not generate hydel power which is the main source of karnataka power supply...
And news started coming that there will be four hours of power cuts every day and reached 8hrs of power cuts in second half of the week though our government has plans to start more power generation units have to wait and see how it goes with this growing city
