Lost Childhood Games of India that is sweet to remember :)..... days were gone when the season of summer was filled with kids playing all sorts of outdoor games on the indian streets.... when we were kids we used to play a whole lot of games from cricket to marbles on the street as the days passed by these games has made to the history shelves and the day may come when these games may be forgotten with the time as these games are in the edge of extinction....

chinni dandal/GULLI-DHANDA was game played with small stick placed in circle and beating the small stick with the long stick by rising it from the ground in first short and hitting it like a cricket ball in the second hit...



in the monsoon and winter we used to catch the dragonfly and butterfly with the help of parthenium weeds and used to tie its tail with the string without hurting it and we use to enjoy seeing them fly with long threads we tied....
These modern day kids are seldom outdoors.... they hardly play any outdoor games... running long distances and playing in mud and water make them sick very soon these kids are so addicted to computers and internet they hardly step out of their home!!! god help our new generation kids....
