Gmail Vs Yahoo Comparison which is the best

which is the Best and free Email service provider? recently i and my friend had a hard debate about email which is the best my friend was yahoo fan and i love google gmail so this made me to write this post...

which is the best e-mail service? it depends on your personal taste and how you organize your mail each person uses and organizes his mails so each has different choices... ok let me tell me which is the best e-mail service from my point of view because i almost tried most of the email service..

My first email was created more or less a decade ago and my first email was on yahoo created in 1998 and then comes hotmail and gmail accounts..... below are the comparison of three mail service provider which are from my point of view though:

though google started late it gave the tough competition to its other counterparts yahoo and hotmail.... Gmail is one of the best email service which offers the service and features which other service provider (yahoo) charges for similar service

Pros

1.Gmail is very fast
2.good interface and tools
3.keyboard shortcuts
4.Excellent spam filtering
5.smtp,pop and imap access
6.email thread view

Cons:

1.attachments containing exe is not allowed but we can rar it and send
2.Portal desing is somewhat old style any way i dont use portal as i have configured it to outlook
My Ratings for gmail 9/10



To answer the google yahoo has updated its yahoo mail with beta with new portal and great features and clear interface though it lacks very important feature imap and pop access which is paid unlike gmail where both are free

Pros:

1.the new beta has good interface like outlook
2.No storeage limit
3.YAhoo MAil Scan has good antivirus
4.Rich html text editor

Cons

1.Big skycraper ads
2.Spam filtering is not so good
3.pop and smtp access is not supported and is a paid service
My Ratings for Yahoo mail 6/10

Conclusion: Gmail is the best Ad free,fast and robust email service provider and whats more you get pop,smtp and imap access for free which is a paid service in yahoo..... why pay when you get it for free? Google always rocks!!! though above are my pure experience and opinion your comments on which is the best email service and reasons are always welcome please do comment your opinions...
