The Nine Unknown Men of ashoka which is believed to be the indian version of atlantis dating back to 273 BC to the reigme of the ashoka indian emperor the grandson of chandragupta who was the first person attempted to unify India... ashok was hindu by birth and converted ti buddhism after the battle of kalinga in the battle kalinga which resisted lost around one lakh men.....he war was over Ashoka ventured out to roam the eastern city and all he could see were burnt houses and scattered corpses. This sight made him sick and he cried the famous quotation, "What have I done?" Upon his return to Pataliputra, he could get no sleep and was constantly haunted by his deeds in Kalinga. The brutality of the conquest led him to adopt Buddhism under the guidance of the Brahmin Buddhist sages Radhaswami and Manjushri and he used his position to propagate the relatively new philosophy to new heights, as far as ancient Rome and Egypt.According to the legend, upon his conversion to Buddhism after a massacre during one of his wars, the Emperor founded he society of the Nine to preserve and develop knowledge that would be dangerous to humanity if it fell into the wrong hands. Some versions of the story include an additional motivation for the Emperor to conceal scientific knowledge: remnants of the Rama Empire, an Indian version of Atlantis, which according to Hindu scripture was destroyed by
advanced weaponry 15,000 years ago.
Asoka founded the most powerful secret society on earth: that of the Nine Unknown Men. It is still thought that the great men responsible fro the destiny of modern India, and scientists like Bose and Ram believe in the existence of the Nine, and even receive advice and messages from them. One can imagine the extraordinary importance of secret knowledge in the hands of nine men benefiting directly from experiments, studies and documents accumulated over a period of more than 2,000 years. What can have been the aim of these men? Not to allow methods of destruction to fall into the hands of unqualified persons and to pursue knowledge which would benefit mankind. Their numbers would be renewed by co-option, so as to preserve the secrecy of techniques handed down from ancient times. Examples of the Nine Unknown Men making contact with the outer world are rare. There was, however, the extraordinary case of one of the most mysterious figures in Western history: the Pope Sylvester II, known also by the name of Gerbert d'Aurillac. Born in the Auvergne in 920 (d. 1003) Gerbert was a Benedictine monk, professor at the University of Rheims, Archbishop of Ravenna and Pope by the grace of Ortho III. He is supposed to have spent some time in Spain, after which a mysterious voyage brought him to India where he is reputed to have aquired various kinds of skills which stupified his entourage. For example, he possessed in his palace a bronze head which answered YES or NO to questions put to it on politics or the general position of Christianity. According to Sylvester II this was a perfectly simple operation corresponding to a two-figure calculation, and was performed by an automaton similar to our modern binary machines. This "magic" head was destroyed when Sylvester died, and all the information it imparted carefully concealed. No doubt an authorized research worker would come across some interesting things in the Vatican Library. In the cybernetics journal, _Computers and Automation_ of October 1954, the following comment appeared: "We must suppose that he (Sylvester) was possessed of extraordinary knowledge and the most remarkable mechanical skill and inventiveness. This speaking head must have been fashioned 'under a certain conjunction of stars occring at the exact moment when all the planets were starting on their courses.' Neither the past, nor the present nor the future entered into it, since this invention apparently far exceeded in its scope its rival, the perverse 'mirror on the wall' of the Queen, the precursor of our modern electronic brain. Naturally it was widely asserted that Gerbert was only able to produce such a machine head because he was in league with the Devil and had sworn eternal allegiance to him." Had other Europeans any contact with the society of the Nine Unknown Men? It was not until the nineteenth century that this mystery was referred to again in the works of the French writer Jacolliot. Jacolliot was French Consul at Calcutta under the Second Empire. He wrote some quite important prophetic works, comparable, if not superior to those of Jules Verne. He also left several books dealing with the great secrets of the human race. A great many occult writers, prophets and miracle-workers have borrowed from his writings which, completely neglected in France, are well known in Russia. Jacolliot states catagorically that the Soceity of Nine did actually exist. And, to make it all the more intriguing, he refers in the this connection to certain techniques, unimaginable in 1860, such as, for example, the liberation of energy, sterilization by radiation and psychological warfare. Yersin, one of Pasteur and de Roux's closest collaborators, was entrusted, it seems, with certain biological secrets when he visited Madras in 1890, and following the instructions he received was able to prepare a serum against cholera and the plague. The story of the Nine Unknown Men was popularized for the first time in 1927 in a book by Talbot Mundy who for twenty-five years was a member of the British police force in India. His book is half-fiction, half scientific inquiry. The Nine apparently employed a synthetic language, and each of them was in possession of a book that was constantly being rewritten and containing a detailed account of some science.
Each of the Nine is supposedly responsible for guarding and improving a single book. These books each deal with a different branch of potentially hazardous knowledge. Traditionally, the books are said to cover the following subjects:
- Propaganda and Psychological warfare.
- Physiology, including instructions on how to perform the "touch of death." One account has Judo being a product of material leaked from this book.
- Microbiology, and, according to more recent speculation, Biotechnology. In some versions of the myth, the waters of the Ganges are purified with special microbes designed by the Nine and released into the river at a secret base in the Himalayas.
- Alchemy, including the transmutation of metals. In India, there is a persistent rumor that during times of drought or other natural disasters temples and religious organizations receive large quantities of gold from an unknown source. The mystery is further deepened with the fact that the sheer quantity of gold throughout the country in temples and with kings cannot be properly accounted for, seeing that India has few gold mines.
- Communication, including communication with extraterrestrials.
- Gravitation. Book 6 The Vaiminaka sastra is said[Please name specific person or group] to contain the instructions necessary to build a Vimana, sometimes referred to as the "ancient UFOs of India."
- Cosmology, the capacity to travel at enormous speeds through spacetime fabric, and time-travel; including intra- and inter-universal trips.
- Light, the capacity to increase and decrease the speed of light, to use it as a weapon by concentrating it in a certain direction etc.
- Sociology, including rules concerning the evolution of societies and how to predict their downfall.
So do you guys believe in the nine unknown men still exists or it is a mere myth do comment g

thanks a lot man
I do believe they are real and in fact i think that the nazi's came across one of them in the himalayas during early 1930's and took with them
the technology of the Vaiminaka sastra with them. That is what was one their secret weapons.. because there is an american conspiracy that during the end of WW2 the americans came across a lab where the found nazi anti gravity experiments and i think that is one of the top top secrets of american govt and the UFO's we see are the 9 nine wanting thier secrets back.
cn smeone tell me more about thez unknown nine???
yes i believe in nine unknown men but can you tell me about the nine books written by them
Yes i do believe it. You know i came to know about this fact in a hindi serial and after long thing and reading some articles in net i presume this is true and fact which one has to believe.
I do believe that there is a secret society which is keeping the knowledge safe and protecting them. I believe that 9 is most respectful , powerful and most significant number which has many unknown secret in it. It is the last and final single digit power number by itself.
You know after reading some articles i have dreamt and fantasized the better future if these books are opened and the secret knowledge is used for man kind.
Well as per one of the friend mentioned here that Germany has taken one of its secrets, for that i would like to say that Hitler used swastika as the symbol of Nazis and same is very powerful symbol for Indians. I have heard some where that German scientists have been using our Veda ghayan for the scientific purposes and also there are trying to invent a machine that could capture sound waves of past which could bring the speech/ talk / sounds of past centuries.
I think that MR.Bose who went to Germany to get support of Nazis to fight against British in India has been one main reasons why German researchers are interested in the Indian science.
Well there are many thing i would like to share but if i think about the same or even talk about it i will be presumed to be mad.
@Sreeu,
please do share your knowledge. that will help every one
i'm new in this subject
but i want to know more about nine unknown men
its reletad to indian history
thats why i'm intersting in this topic
The Nine unkown men still exists in India today, though the original ones have long passed away into oblivion, the system of co-opting is still in practice (nomination of members)Aryabhatta, Bose, Vikram Sarabhai including formenr President APJ Abdul Kalam are reported as having been part of this assemblage. The original 9 men were also responsible for the space/ astronomy efforts by Indian kings of the past. Rumours persist about the 3 Magi who followed a Guiding Star to locate Jesus location. Though the identities of the Magi have never been established, little doubt remains that they had active connections with ancient Indian Scientists.
Take a look at the current research and activity centered round India's space and defence programmes. Kinetic attack Loitering interceptor (KALI) and Directional Unrestricted Ray gun array (DURGA) and Avatar hyperplanes are so advanced that no country so far has anything remotely close to them. The planned mission to study the sun (ISRO) manned moon missions and beyond, all have the echoes of some enlightened individual at play.
As far as the Ganges story goes, its waters are indeed radioactive, perhaps due to the covert exercise by Americans and Indians to install a listening device in the Himalayas (Nandi devi expedition)to spy on Chinese atomic tests. The device burrowed itself deep into the Himalayas and is close to the Ganges waters.
Interesting that the knights templar were accused of having a disembodied head.
I have made a small effort to compile about the following at www.thewizardbegins.blogspot.com :
1>Life after Death

Hi!
I'm new to this topic. I felt interesting when I read couple of articles related to the same. Whenever I read these kind of thing on net.. first thing strikes to my mind is 'Is it true?'.. Like we may not have any proof for most of the mystery stuff.. But start believing the scripts/information/ancestores..
-> Practically how can someone live for so long when he/she is not a supernatural person.. Ifso.. Why will supernatural person work under Ashoks (who being a human being)..
Suppose there was such thing which has happened.. then the nine-man should have died by this time (if they are not super natural).. In that case these books must have been under some others hands.. If so where are they?
Can someone answer my question? I just want to know more about it.. but these things strike me when I try to read more of these.. Is there any other site which gives more information about the same topic..
the nine men were ministers of the king. the story reads as follows. the king ordered the ministers to write book in which each ministers are expertise. the out come of the kalinga was made the king to have a second thought on the true potential of the content in each books. for the good, the king ordered to disguise the whereabout of books. books still may be protected far away from the wicked and greedy modern society.
Conspiracy theory is always interesting subject. I've read about Templars, Kabbala, Freemasonry, and Illuminati. However, the Nine Unknown Men is new for me.
One similarity I notice between Egyptian-rooted secret society and The Nine Unknown Men is about 'transmutation of metals.
Any idea?
Sorry if there's some mistakes coz I'm still 'studying' this subject. :)
Dear Friends,
Good to know their are soo many people who are interested in knowing about this and also to know that people are skeptical about whether people can live life for such a long time. If a person is an Indian and Hindu then one must be knowing about the sadhus who are living in himalayas who come are said to be 1000 years old.
Now about 9 unknown men, they do really exist and are alive from the period of Ashoka. The books also are their but not kept or hidden at one place. I have been researching on this for couple of years through which I have understood that the books are hidden in different places across the empire of the Great Ashoka. So it is difficult to find them and even if we get to know it is difficult to reach as they are well protected with a very high level of security.
As per my knowled, books are not hidden in diffrent places. There is cave near Badrinath which opens for very people like Vivekanand, who went there and got access of stone books and mainly got the knowledge on math.
There are some other topics which need to understand to get clearity like Reptilian who are rulling the earth form the starting of human race.
Thanks

Namaste,
Indeed the unknown nine must be very protective in this greedy, terrorised, demoralised and negative intelligence. There is a supernarural power that will safeguard the nine from the world population of 7 billion. Ashoka was not foolish to captivated ministers for Good for the human society. I'm assuming the unknown nine could be the nine planets of the solar system acquiring positive energy endlessly. These nine could be immortal.
Thanks

vaimanika shastra was written in around 1800s thats what other sources say, nine unknown were created during asoka's regime
Those books were hidden for a reason. Ashoka knew that those technologies destroyed the Rama empire 20,000-15,000 BC. History repeats itself. If we learn the technology, we will wipe each other out. And thus, a new race will flourish.
Hi all, interesting post.
I want to understand a few things.
1. The Nine men were assembled to keep some treasure of knowledge safe from the greedy world. Right ? Who are these Nine men ? How were they selected ? If they are frm Ashoka's court, then their details should have been mentioned in some text.
2. The Nine Men posses knowledge about many things like antigravity, biotechnology etc. If yes, then why are they not helping the mankind to develop green technologies and make the world a better place ? Look around you guyz, do you find a place around where you can say " I am free of polution "
3. Regarding their longlife, i know people who are living about 110 + in the himalayas in places near Manikaran etc., you cant easily access them coz' they are very vulnerable to sound, light and the food they intake. They are in state of constant meditation and they are quite withdrawn from our worldly things. If our nine men are like that, then why will they help us ?
Can anyone respond to the above..
Regards
Sridhar
And one more thing friends, I have no disrespect to anyone, all i want is enhance my knowledge. Sridhar
sridhar ..
we are learning technology.but at this point we cant answer ur childish question.. believe..
One of the 9's
Yes, i do believe that the nine men exist.. but m just a 14 year guy, i don't know much about them, but i got a few questions..
1. If the nine men still exist, or their nominees do.. how can we communicate with them??
2. Is there any place where we can go , and find them or their knowledge?... please reply!!
really interesting wish to know more about this.
Hi,
Its very interesting to read about the nine unknown men...but do we have any solid evidence or any strong references about their existance. Most of the websites just repeat the same thing over again and there is no any reference as such giving any other details.
Guru Bhagawan Shree Rajneesh spoke of the Ashoka Nine very matter of factly in his book "I Am The Gate". He says that Hitler was initially supported by that group and were responsible for Hitler's early streak of successes and victories. The problem was that Hitler was not an ideal medium for their work, and their support was eventually withdrawn, resulting in Hitler's catastrophic defeat. Rajneesh says that Hitler was a desperate gamble on the part of the nine; they were hoping to use Hitler as a constructive, rather than as a destructive stooge for world change.
Rajneesh says that you can be in touch with the "nine" and other esoteric groups by making yourself more open through meditation.

Right now it is bit confussing to understand about 9 men or 9 planets.one man is enough to change the whole world without weapons.Just try to be nice with others and be helpfull if you could.I am not just talking prety soon i am coming back to India to finish the unfinished leftover work of Ashoka and our great Fathers and forefathers.Think possitive and be nice, and stay away from drugs.God Bless!

This story of nine mens of Ashoka is really fascinating.I read book written by Erich von Daniken.Though his book and topic was controversial, his questions and facts really make us think, atleast for once. His book speaks about super advanced extra terristorial creatures visiting earth and implanting knowledge in creatures like apes which existed on earth long back.Later on as time passed people forgot that advanced knowledge or that knowledge was lost and not passed on to next generation. This assumption of loss of knowledge holds strong when I try to compare it with some Indian traditions and practice of religious rituals and rites. (I respect Indian culture and traditions very much.PPlz dont take this comment in some other way around. :))As we all know India is very rich in culture.People here practice all traditional rites.Every ritual rite has a scientific reason behind it.May be the style and procedure of carrying out that steps for performing rites is put in such a way that people would remember it for a long time and wont forget easily.Unfortunately, some people gave rise to superstitions while practising tradition during this big time span. Even the ancient sadhus were said to be believing in science which was advanced.Simple practice, for example,Indian women practice putting a Bindi or sindur on their forehead. The reason found behind that practice is that it helps in concentration. There are many such examples.Ancient India,Ramayana ,Mahabharata they used weapons.Funny looking weapons arrows shown clashing in Hindi old serials might be advanced missiles. The Ram setu, pushpak viman and many more ancient things can be related to scientific knowledge.Even the first Indian,Shankar Talpade, developed and flew an unmanned aeroplane 8yrs before Wright brothers, used vedic knowledge. All these ancient things have some link to unknown science.I think may be we have lost that knowledge or it can be nine men and their hidden books or it can be the present generation which is gaining knowledge about universe and advancing AGAIN from the little knowledge that we had about universe ,physics and science in past. The nine men is really an interesting topic and looks real.Proud to be an Indian and countrymen which has rich cultural and traditional heritage.Ooppss..this comment has turned into an essay.. :P .. but the more you think about it ..the more you get unanswered questions..Hope some day mankind finds answers to all those unanswered questions.
I firmly believe in the existence of secret societies. I am actually convinced that einstein was part of a secret society and he was give a order like"go forth and enlighten the world with this knowledge" and so he revealed the theory of relativity. In my view it would be quite easy to find or create some sort of disturbance in a GOOD secret society if a group of about 250 people get together and think about something like making them reveal themselves or wishing that the society is destroyed. [Because as I think these secret societies must have connection to natural forces(maybe inter-universe depending on how you think of it) and the people who have such powers become verrrry sensitive towards their surroundings( that is sounds, other thoughts, they get disturbed if they are near an angry, evil etc.. person and such].... this is what i think
why in my philosophy, I can never pass nine?
No matter how hard I try, nine is the definition of infinity.
G-9 said,
It is very good to see that we are debating and serious about 9. May be it is not the right time for 9 to reveal themselves. but I think that we are not in such situation to adopt these kind of information what 9 Men have ? first of all we will have to make ourselves pure, greed less and true follower of humanity.
G-9
plz rite ur own idea
if we go to indian mythology--dre are exactly 9 men are { AMAR} they will not die.
Nine is the number.... it talks many things. Science is another reason, understanding of Nature is different.... Secret societies was world wide from the beginning. It passes on and on. Could be nice and progressive in disguise but evil in consequences!
